TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”, “your”, or “the user”) and ISSB Preparation, a project of Athens Academy, Islamabad, Pakistan(“we”, “us”, “our”, or “the Platform”). They govern your access to and use of our website, mobile-optimised interfaces, applications, and all associated services, content, and tools (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting our website, creating an account, or using any part of the Services — whether as a guest or as a registered user — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in full, together with our Privacy Policy (incorporated herein by reference). These Terms take effect on the date of your first access or registration, whichever is earlier.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any update to these Terms will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. It is your responsibility to review them periodically. Material changes will be communicated by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.

The following terms carry the meanings set out below wherever they appear in these Terms:

• Platform — the ISSB Preparation website, web application, and all related tools, pages, and interfaces operated by Athens Academy.
• Services — all features, functions, content, assessments, evaluations, reports, practice tests, guides, and any other materials or capabilities made available through the Platform, whether free or paid.
• Plans— the free and paid subscription tiers that determine which features and Services you may access, as described on the Platform's pricing page.
• Content — all text, questions, exercises, guides, templates, evaluation rubrics, designs, graphics, audio, video, software, and any other material published on or through the Platform by us or our licensors.
• User Content — any material you submit, upload, or transmit through the Platform, including but not limited to test responses, handwriting samples, voice recordings, interview transcripts, uploaded receipts and documents, and personal information provided during registration.
• Reports — evaluation summaries, scores, feedback documents, pen pictures, radar charts, and any other output generated by the Platform in response to your submissions.
• Account — the personal account created by you upon registration, granting access to the Services in accordance with your active Plan.

To register for an Account you must be at least thirteen (13) years of age. Users between the ages of 13 and 17 may only use the Platform with the express consent of a parent or legal guardian, who assumes full responsibility for compliance with these Terms on the minor's behalf. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement and, if a minor, that you have obtained the required parental or guardian consent.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep that information updated at all times. A valid Pakistani mobile phone number in the format 03XXXXXXXXX is required at registration; this number may be used for payment verification and service communications. Providing false or misleading registration information is grounds for immediate Account suspension or termination.

Each person may hold only one Account. Creating multiple accounts — whether to circumvent access controls, obtain duplicate free-tier entitlements, or for any other reason — is strictly prohibited and may result in all associated accounts being permanently terminated.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your Account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your Account. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials.

We reserve the right to refuse registration, suspend, or permanently terminate any Account at our sole discretion, including where we have reason to believe that these Terms have been or are likely to be violated, or where we deem such action necessary to protect the Platform or its users.

The Platform provides practice and preparation resources designed to assist candidates preparing for Pakistan's armed-forces selection process. Services currently include, and are not limited to:

• Gamified MCQ quizzes covering intelligence, academic, and general-knowledge domains, with adaptive difficulty, streaks, XP, and leaderboards.
• Study guides, eligibility tools, and bio-data preparation aids.
• Timed psychometric practice tests (Word Association, Situation Reaction, Self-Description, Thematic Apperception).
• Evaluated assessments with detailed feedback Reports produced under expert supervision.
• Mock interview simulations with evaluated transcripts and coaching.
• Lecture-style public-speaking practice and planning exercises.
• Progress tracking, performance analytics, and study roadmaps.

We continuously develop and improve the Platform. Services may be added, modified, renamed, suspended, or permanently withdrawn at any time without prior notice. We will endeavour to give reasonable advance notice of material changes that affect paid Plan features, but we make no binding commitment to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.

Access to certain Services is gated by your active Plan. We reserve the right to restructure Plan tiers and the features included in each tier at our discretion, provided that any changes to paid Plans already purchased will not reduce the material features available to you for the remainder of your current paid term.

ISSB Preparation is an independent, privately operated preparation platform. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or in any way connected to the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB), the Pakistan Army, the Pakistan Navy, the Pakistan Air Force, the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, or any ministry, department, agency, or instrumentality of the Government of Pakistan.

Any reference on this Platform to “ISSB”, “Pakistan Armed Forces”, “Army”, “Navy”, “Air Force”, or related designations is made solely to identify and describe the selection process for which our users are preparing. Such references do not imply affiliation, endorsement, or any official relationship with the named organisations.

All official names, abbreviations, insignia, emblems, and trademarks of Pakistan's armed forces and government institutions remain the exclusive property of their respective owners. Their use on this Platform is purely descriptive and referential and does not constitute any claim of ownership, licence, or association.

Users are strongly advised to rely on the official ISSB website and official Pakistan Armed Forces channels for authoritative information about eligibility criteria, selection procedures, and official schedules.

The Platform is a preparation and practice tool only. Nothing on the Platform constitutes a guarantee, prediction, warranty, or promise — express or implied — that you will pass any test, receive a recommendation from ISSB, be selected for any armed-forces role, or achieve any specific outcome from participating in any selection process.

All feedback, scores, evaluations, and Reports generated through the Platform are provided as practice feedback and professional opinion for educational purposes only. They are not official assessments, they do not reflect ISSB's actual scoring methodologies or criteria, and they carry no predictive or binding value whatsoever with respect to actual selection outcomes.

Selection decisions rest solely and entirely with the Inter Services Selection Board, the relevant armed-forces branch, and such other authorities as may be responsible for the official process. Those authorities operate independently of this Platform, and we have no influence over, or knowledge of, their internal assessment standards, decisions, or procedures.

Past performance of other users on this Platform has no bearing on your individual outcome. Individual results depend on a wide range of personal, physical, medical, psychological, educational, and procedural factors entirely outside our knowledge or control. You use the Platform at your own risk and with full understanding of these limitations.

Evaluated assessments on this Platform are produced using automated assessment technology under the supervision and review of our expert panel. Before a Report is released to you, it may be held briefly for review by a qualified member of our expert panel, who may edit, annotate, or withhold any Report that does not meet our quality standards.

Delivery timelines stated on the Platform (e.g., “within 24 hours”) are indicative estimates only and not contractual commitments. Delivery may be delayed by submission volume, panel availability, technical issues, or other factors beyond our reasonable control. We will use reasonable efforts to deliver Reports within the stated timeframe and will notify you of significant delays where possible.

Each Report represents the professional opinion of our expert panel, informed by your submission and applicable preparation frameworks. Reports are provided strictly for practice purposes and personal development. They must not be treated as, or presented as, an official assessment, certificate, qualification, or endorsement by any armed forces body or public authority.

We reserve the right to decline to produce or release a Report where a submission is incomplete, technically unreadable, in violation of these Terms, or otherwise unsuitable for evaluation. In such cases we will notify you and, at our discretion, offer you the opportunity to re-submit.

The Platform offers a free tier and one or more paid tiers (“Plans”). The features included in each Plan are described on the Platform's pricing page and are subject to change as set out in Section 4.

Paid Plans are activated via a manual payment verification process. To upgrade, you must:

• Make payment via an approved channel (bank transfer, JazzCash, or Easypaisa) to the account details published on the Platform.
• Upload a clear, genuine, unaltered copy of your payment receipt or transaction confirmation through the Platform's designated submission interface.
• Await manual verification by our team, which may take up to 48 hours on business days.

Your paid Plan will be activated only after our team has verified your receipt. Until verification is complete your Account remains on the free tier, and we assume no liability for any delay in activation caused by submission of an illegible, incomplete, or non-genuine receipt.

Paid Plans run for the term stated at the time of purchase and expire automatically at the end of that term without renewal unless you initiate a new payment and verification cycle. We will not issue an automatic renewal charge.

Prices are listed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) inclusive of any applicable fees displayed. Prices may change at any time; changes apply prospectively and will not affect the price of a Plan already activated for its current term. You are solely responsible for any bank transfer charges, mobile-wallet fees, or taxes applicable to your payment.

Submitting a forged, tampered, duplicated, or otherwise fraudulent payment receipt constitutes a material breach of these Terms and will result in immediate, permanent Account termination. We further reserve the right to report such conduct to relevant law enforcement or financial authorities.

All payments are non-refundable once your paid Plan has been activated. By completing payment and submitting your receipt, you acknowledge that Plan activation constitutes full performance of the service on our part, and you waive any right to a refund on the basis of partial use, dissatisfaction with outcomes, or change of mind.

If you believe you have made a duplicate payment, or if your payment cannot be matched to your Account and remains unactivated, you must contact us within seven (7) calendar days of the payment date by submitting a written request via WhatsApp or email with your transaction reference details. Requests received after this period cannot be processed.

Approved refunds, if any, will be returned via the original payment channel (bank account or mobile wallet from which the payment was made). Any bank or wallet transfer costs incurred in processing the return will be deducted from the refunded amount. We reserve the right to take up to fourteen (14) calendar days to process an approved refund.

By submitting User Content through the Platform — including but not limited to test responses, psychometric answers, handwriting samples, voice and video recordings, interview transcripts, uploaded documents, and payment receipts — you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process, transmit, and use that User Content solely for the purposes of:

• Generating your evaluation Reports.
• Verifying your payment and activating your Plan.
• Operating, maintaining, and improving the technical infrastructure of the Platform (in aggregated and anonymised form only).

Data-retention policy: in accordance with our commitment to minimising the storage of sensitive raw submissions, we permanently delete raw User Content — including handwriting images, interview transcripts, psychometric responses, and payment receipt data — once evaluation or verification is complete. The resulting Report or verification outcome is the permanent record retained on our systems. This deletion is irreversible.

You warrant that all User Content you submit is your own original work, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of any third party. You also warrant that your submissions represent your own genuine effort and are not prepared or completed by another person on your behalf. Submitting work that is not your own for evaluation purposes defeats the purpose of preparation and violates these Terms.

You acknowledge that, by the nature of the evaluation process, your User Content will be reviewed by members of our expert panel. You consent to that review as a necessary part of the Service.

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, you must not:

• Cheat, collude with others, or misrepresent your own work in any evaluated assessment or practice exercise.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your identity, military service, or candidacy status.
• Share, lend, sell, transfer, or otherwise permit any other person to use your Account credentials or access the Platform through your Account.
• Resell, sublicence, or commercialise access to the Platform or any part of its content without our express written permission.
• Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, crawlers, or scripts to access, extract, or download any content from the Platform, including question banks, test materials, or Reports.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, or proprietary logic of the Platform or its evaluation systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security, integrity, or availability of the Platform or its underlying infrastructure.
• Redistribute, republish, reproduce, display, or create derivative works of any Platform Content — including question banks, test materials, reports, study guides, or design elements — without our prior written consent.
• Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or defeat any access controls, payment gates, Plan restrictions, or verification mechanisms.
• Upload or submit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of any third party.
• Use the Platform in any manner that could bring it, Athens Academy, or its staff into disrepute.

Breach of this section constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may result in immediate Account suspension or termination without refund, and may expose you to civil or criminal liability.

All Content on the Platform — including but not limited to question banks, practice tests, psychometric exercises, evaluation frameworks, study guides, templates, Report formats, software code, databases, design elements, graphics, photographs, videos, branding, logos, and trade dress — is owned by or licenced to us and is protected by the intellectual property laws of Pakistan and applicable international conventions.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and the payment of any applicable Plan fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform and its Content solely for your own private preparation for armed-forces selection. This licence does not permit any commercial use, redistribution, reproduction, or exploitation of any Platform Content.

Any unauthorised copying, modification, reproduction, republication, resale, or distribution of Platform Content — in whole or in part, in any format or medium — is a violation of our intellectual property rights and these Terms, and may be subject to legal action. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any ownership right or title in or to any Platform Content. Your Reports are generated for your personal use; you may retain a personal copy for your own reference, but you may not publish, share, or distribute them in any form that implies official endorsement or serves commercial or promotional purposes.

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Platform you consent to the collection and processing of your personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.

Personal information you provide — including your name, email address, phone number, and payment details — is used solely to operate and deliver the Services. Specifically, we may use your contact information to:

• Verify your payment receipt and activate or manage your Plan.
• Send service-related notifications regarding your Account, submissions, and Reports.
• Contact you by phone, WhatsApp, or email where verification or account management requires direct communication.
• Send you infrequent updates about new Platform features or material changes to these Terms.

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal data to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We do not use third-party behavioural advertising networks. Data is stored securely on servers located in or accessible from reputable cloud infrastructure providers; we implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to safeguard your information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.

By registering and providing your phone number you consent to receiving transactional and verification messages via WhatsApp and SMS from our team. You may opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us, but transactional messages related to payment verification and account security cannot be disabled while your Account is active.

We reserve the right to suspend access to or permanently terminate your Account, with or without prior notice, if we determine in our sole discretion that:

• You have breached any provision of these Terms.
• You have submitted fraudulent, forged, or tampered payment receipts or identity information.
• You have engaged in abusive, threatening, or harassing conduct toward our staff, expert panel members, or other users.
• Your use of the Platform violates any applicable law or regulation.
• Suspension or termination is necessary to protect the integrity, security, or reputation of the Platform or any of its users.

Where an Account is terminated for cause (i.e., for breach of these Terms or fraudulent conduct), any remaining paid-Plan time is forfeited without refund. We are not obligated to provide notice before termination in cases involving fraud, abuse, or unlawful conduct.

You may close your Account at any time by contacting us. Account closure does not entitle you to a refund of any prepaid Plan fees. Upon closure, your Account data will be handled in accordance with our data-retention policy and Privacy Policy. User Content already deleted per our retention policy cannot be recovered.

Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including Sections 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 16, 18, and 19 — will remain in full force after any termination or expiry of these Terms.

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all implied warranties including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We do not warrant that: (a) the Platform will be available at all times or free from technical errors, interruptions, or security vulnerabilities; (b) any Report or evaluation will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose; (c) using the Platform will improve your performance in any actual selection process; or (d) any information on the Platform reflects the current official requirements or procedures of the ISSB or Pakistan Armed Forces.

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Pakistan, we and our directors, employees, consultants, expert panel members, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
• Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, or data.
• Loss of anticipated career advancement, military selection, or commission.
• Non-selection or rejection from any armed-forces recruitment process, regardless of the quality of any Report or feedback provided.
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your Account or User Content.

In any event, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services — whether in contract, tort, statute, or otherwise — shall not exceed the total Plan fees actually paid by you to us in the three (3) calendar months immediately preceding the date on which the claim arose. Where you are on the free tier and have paid no fees, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed PKR 1,000 (one thousand Pakistani Rupees).

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion of implied warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. If you are accessing the Platform from such a jurisdiction, these exclusions and limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by the law of that jurisdiction.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Athens Academy, ISSB Preparation, and their respective directors, employees, expert panel members, consultants, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, losses, damages, judgments, fines, penalties, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that arise out of or relate to:

• Your breach of any provision of these Terms.
• Any User Content you submit, including any claim that such content infringes the rights of a third party or violates applicable law.
• Your unlawful, negligent, or fraudulent use of the Platform or the Services.
• Any misrepresentation made by you in connection with your Account or any payment.

We reserve the right, at your expense, to assume exclusive control of the defence of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us. You agree to cooperate fully with our defence of such claims and not to settle any claim without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms at any time and at our sole discretion. When we do so, we will post the revised Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes — for example, by displaying a notice within the Platform or by sending you a message to the email or phone number on your Account — but we are not obligated to provide individual notice of every amendment.

Your continued access to or use of the Platform after the revised Terms have been posted constitutes your acceptance of those revised Terms.If you do not agree with any revised Terms, you must stop using the Platform immediately and, if you wish, close your Account.

We also reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or restructure any part of the Services at any time. Where a modification materially reduces the features included in a currently active paid Plan, we will provide notice and, if appropriate, a pro-rata credit for affected paid time at our discretion.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

You agree that any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Services, or your relationship with the Platform shall be brought exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction located in Islamabad, Pakistan. You irrevocably submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waive any objection to the laying of venue in those courts on the grounds of inconvenient forum or otherwise.

Nothing in this section prevents us from seeking urgent or interim relief (including injunctive relief to protect intellectual property rights or prevent imminent harm) from any court of competent jurisdiction, wherever located.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed from the remaining Terms, which shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if it cannot be modified, it shall be deemed deleted.

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by us on the Platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and us with respect to your use of the Platform and supersede all prior representations, negotiations, understandings, and agreements — whether written or oral — relating to the same subject matter.

No Waiver. Our failure or delay in exercising any right, remedy, or discretion under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that or any other right, remedy, or discretion. A waiver of any breach of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent or continuing breach.

Assignment. We may assign, transfer, or novate these Terms, or any rights or obligations under them, to any successor entity, affiliate, or acquirer of our business or assets, without your consent and without notice. You may not assign, transfer, or sub-contract your rights or obligations under these Terms to any other person without our prior written consent; any purported assignment in violation of this clause is null and void.

Headings. Section headings in these Terms are included for convenience of reference only and shall not affect the interpretation of any provision.

No Third-Party Beneficiaries. These Terms are for the sole benefit of you and us. Nothing in these Terms, express or implied, is intended to or shall confer on any other person or entity any legal or equitable right, benefit, or remedy under or by reason of these Terms.

If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints about these Terms or the Platform, or if you wish to report a suspected breach, you may contact us using the details below. We aim to respond to all written enquiries within five (5) business days.
